About Rhiannon

Rhiannon Jenkins Tsang was born and grew up in Yorkshire. She read Oriental Studies at Oxford University and is a non-practising lawyer. Widely travelled, she has published poems and short stories.  Her first novel, The Woman Who Lost China, was published by Open Books in 2013, her second The Last Vicereine, by Penguin Random House, in 2017.  She now lives with her family in a village in Nottinghamshire. She speaks Mandarin, Cantonese, French, German and Spanish.
